2026 Background Style — Confirmed
The 2026 specials all use the same landscape background language: warm blush-pink gradient sky, layered rolling hills in mauve/dusty rose, white cloud puffs, and a sandy cream ground strip at the base. This is the style used for Jan/Feb Beefeater, March Jameson, and April Cazcabel.

Jan/Feb reference — glass style to match
Glass Graphic Style — 2026 Standard
The 2026 style has very specific glass illustrations. They must match these rules exactly:
Size
Glasses dominate the poster — taking up roughly 40–50% of the poster height. They are the centrepiece.
Outline
Thick black border (stroke) around the entire glass shape — not thin, clearly visible
Fill style
Horizontal colour bands inside the glass (2–3 distinct colour layers). Dotted/halftone texture in the lower portion.
Garnish
Garnish or decorative element at the rim (fruit, leaf, straw). Part of the glass illustration.
No £ symbol
Prices are shown as plain numbers: 7.50, not £7.50

Foreground Colours — Per Cocktail
Each poster has two cocktails, each with its own glass colour palette. These change every month to match the drink.
Cocktail 1
Glass fill bands use colours that reflect the drink ingredients (e.g. amber/gold for whiskey, green for apple/midori).
Cocktail 2
A contrasting palette from cocktail 1 — gives visual variety. Both use thick black outlines (#1a1a1a).
Halftone Dots
White or light-coloured dots pattern in the glass fills — consistent across all 2026 designs.
Overlays & Scene Elements
2026 Standard
Rolling pink hill landscape with layered silhouettes. White cloud puffs in upper sky. Sandy cream ground at base.
Seasonal
Some months add themed overlays (shamrocks for March, agave for Cazcabel, etc.) but these are minimal — the background landscape stays the dominant scene.
Overlay colours
Overlay elements match the foreground palette. See individual month breakdowns for exact colour schemes.
Brand Logo
When used
Only when there's a brand partnership (e.g. Beefeater, Jameson, Cazcabel, Jack Daniel's). Not all specials have a brand logo.
Position
Typically near the sub-header or top-right, alongside the "× BRAND NAME" text.
Style
Official brand logo, usually in dark red or white to match the overall poster palette.
What Changes Each Month
Background Scene
Same 2026 pink landscape, but seasonal overlays/accents may change.
Glass Colours
Two separate palettes — one per cocktail. Colours match the drink.
Brand Sub-header
Sponsor name + optional brand logo — only header element that changes.
Cocktail Content
Name, price, ingredients. Always two cocktails, one per column.
